customsrus
And yet another build from my past. This is a1955 Chevy truck that I cut the top off, and replaced it with the window frame from a 53 Corvette. Also used from the Corvette kit were the head lights and grille. Front bumper molded to cab. The firewall, door jambs, and fender wells were scratch built. The bed was built by using the Corvette rear fenders molded to the 55 truck bed. The Corvette front lower pan is now used for a rear valance. The interior is from the Corvette kit modified to fit cab. Chassis is from the Boyds Smoothster with motor and transmission mounts added. Motor is from the Tamiya Mercedes 500 SL. Thanks for looking.
