Jay t.
I have a 61 Falcon model without a roof and an altered wheelbase Mustang fastback so I figured what the heck. I don't know when it will get done
chunkypeanutbutter
It's a Mustang Jr.!
Custom Mike
It actually looks really good in a weird sort of way, keep going!
Jay t.
Thanks, it looks better in person. I tried to get a good pic angle but i'm using an ipad for photos.
blazefox
Fastback falcon cool put the amt 427 under the hood
Snake45
If I were doing that, at this point I'd be tempted to take about a half-inch off the back of the car, and then move the rear wheels forward about a half inch.
Jay t.
I don't know what direction to go with this one. Maybe an afx drag car like the early Nova fastback of Houston Platt or a concept car like this Thunderbird
wayne swayze
Only a suggestion.... move the rear wheelwells forward and stuff the engine compartment full of 427 cammer!!
bobthehobbyguy
Great start. Looking forward to seeing what direstion you go with it.
espo
Could be a Ford prototype from a long a go.
Geno
I like it as is; after all the 'Stang was based off of the Falcon anyway. Can't wait to see it done.
GerN
I would probably make a resin copy of the front wheel openings and replace the rears. That would say "sporty" and lighten the rear quarter, giving better balance. I would not shorten the wheelbase - might even move the rears back a little for a longer look. Try doing some photoshop playing (if you don't have PS, check out GIMP 2 - its great). Edited January 3, 2015 by GerN

Jay t.
Thanks for the comments guys. I have seen a few real Falcons with front fender wheel openings grafted onto the rear quarters. It looks good and maybe do that if I do the concept car route for that lighter sporty look. Tommorrow i will glue the roof and cowl in for good and start spreading the bondo. Chromecop
Here's what it could look like with front wheelopening in the rear fender!
chunkypeanutbutter
I think you should stay with that rear wheel opening but just shove it forward a little bit.
GerN
Here's a slightly modified copy of Chromecop's version:
Jay t.
Thanks for the photoshop work guys. I think that would look good for a drag version. Plenty of room for slicks.
