Ridge Rider
A project I have been thinking about. Has anyone attempted this. My initial thought is to start with a 1/35 deuce and a half and a baha beast and go from there. Any ideas, reference, or info to replicate the shapes and styling of this would be appreciated. By the way, this is a movie prop vehicle from the movie Mystery Men for those who don't know.
DrGlueblob
I liked that movie, especially the Sphinx . Internet search, and if nada, write the producers of the movie or look thru the credits and find the prop shop.
Lunajammer
In 1/25 scale, I wonder if this would be a good starting point? For some of the other shapes, I've been inspired with what I've found at the dollar store and toys from the thrift store. Ridge Rider
Thanks for the reply's Chip and Mike. The history of this vehicle is very sketchy through google research. There are lots of different story's. It had been mentioned somewhere that it was on a Ford chassis but I cannot verify that. The snow plow wheelbase looks about right-thank you. I was at the thrift stores today with this project at the front of my mind, but found things for other projects. That is how it works. Thanks again for the input, all ideas are appreciated. Passin Thru
Anybody's welcome to use my drawing of the Jitney.http://orzel-w.deviantart.com/art/Herkimer20141027-491541116I collected all the photos I could find online and screen grabs from the movie to put this together. I'm confident it's the most accurate representation you'll find.
Ridge Rider
Thank you Wayne, that is some good stuff there. This project is still on my mind but I'm still trying to source materials and I'm in the middle of a big build at the moment. I will let you know when I decide to tackle this. Thanks again.
