I used I think it is .030 thick styrene sheet, and just a bit firm and it sliced right through, didn't distort or anything. Personal Portable Paper Cutter. <$20.00, can't beat that. Dave Van Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Been using one for ten years or more. I never cut all the way through.....just scribe and snap. I cut some .080 sheet stock last night. Two passes and snap it. Clean 90 degree cut every time. For those with arthritis in the hands a great tool. Mine was under $10.
