signmike Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Here's an exciting project for me. For a long time I wanted to build another one, but I procrastinate on it knowing that detailing is a must for those models to look good. Well it's on the way now... Rail frame is painted with a mix of Alclad Aluminium and Gunmetal to acheive the metal look. The body is painted Ferrari 90's F1 red and most lettering is done.
Petetrucker07 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Nice work. I have this kit in the stash. Paint and decal work look awesome.
Nacho Z Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Another nice looking model on your work bench, Michel. I'll be following this one.
signmike Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 Just completed this one. Since I'm not too familiar with how this forum works, (I'm still learning) I did not post many progress pics. Now it is posted in ''Under Glass'' section...Thanks
W-409 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 That turned out excellent! I haven't seen much of these new Top Fuel Dragsters being built so it's always nice to see one. Especially when it's done this well. Nice paint job and good work with those decals too. Sharp details on that engine finish it off. Good Job.
signmike Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Thank you. I did not put aluminium fitting on the engine hoses , just glued the hoses down. It was intended to be only a shelf model.
Old Coyote Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Beautiful build sir ............ very nicely done
