Printing/Mailing of the magazine
I have posted on one of the professional forums/groups that I belong to for publishers, and someone brought up an interesting point on the subject of our readers receiving torn and/or damaged copies/covers of the magazine. They said it could be due to the fact that we print on too heavy of a paper, and that’s why the machines are tearing some of them up. Go figure! I try and use the best I can for the readers, and this is the way I get treated…. It’s just not fair! I’m kidding of course. But it is something I am looking into. I could go to a lighter paper, and see how this affects the magazine and it’s damaged/return ratio, or we can just keep on giving you the best, highest-quality magazine out there.
We’ll see…
Aloha, and a hui ho!
