scbaker, thank you for the comment. The rims and tires both are from the galaxie limited kit mentioned in my original post. They are in my oppinion the best set of stellies I have ever worked with. They are very detailed including valve stems
crazyjim, from what i have seen of this site i would have to agree with you. it looks like a bunch of people that all share a passion for this hobby and are willing to help eachother out whenever possible..........."Kook"

Love it man! It is looking really good so far. I agree with Jantrix, taking a little rubbing alchohol to the body will deffinatly help feather out the rough edges a bit and make it look even better............"Kook"

Thanks W-409, I agree with you. that is what has always drawn me to oldschool customs, just the pure craftsmanship and ingenuity that people would put into their cars, not to mention the blood sweet and tears........."Kook"

Well since this is my first post i guess i should start by introducing myself just a little. My name is Ryan although most people just call me "Kook", a nickname from highschool that has stuck. I am new to this site but not to modeling in general. My love is for 50's and 60's era customs, as you will get to know by my modeling subjects. Anyhow that is a litle about me now on to this current build.
This started life as the galaxie limited 48 chevy sedan delivery kit. the body has undergone a lot of sufgery since then and as you can see all that is left is the fron cab section which has been chopped. once i have gotten the chop completely smoothed out and the doors rescribed i will be adding the drip rails back to the body. As for the powerplant i am going to be using a 440 sixpack that i will be modifying the intake manifold on to accept tripple strombergs. not to sure on the rest just gonna figure it out as i go along. My skills are merely adequate, but i hope you all will enjoy this and future builds of mine. now here are a couple pics........... "Kook"
