    The early Revell 426 Nitro engines are slightly under scale and thus are not really suited for updating AMT or MPC kits. I have no idea why Revell did this, but, it also carried over into the 1/16th scale cars.

    I remember this was on the list back when the Blue Printer was around. They sent out a Poll on which kits you would like to see back and this was on it. Wish I still had a copy of that list.

    You can just re-barrel one of the kits wheels and I used the Air Horns from a Tamiya kit on a Revell Datsun 510 L-16 that look just like those.

    Well, my LHS was a bit low on models this weekend, I wonder why? Panic buying is in! Get to the store now!!!!

    That nose was specific to the Prudhome car. That was one of the biggest differences between these kits. Some came with front wire wheels or with Super Tricks. The Garlits and California Special cars have slotted rear wheels

    I have one just for the Nostalgia Factor, along with its siblings that share everything else but the body. I believe they did the same thing with the Datsun Pick Up and Ford Courier of sharing the same innards

    I am 50 and still not acting my age!

    It shows that we do not have many younger model builders replacing us. Hence we might be the last major wave in this hobby before the final crash.
