    I have one of those Vega Funny Cars and the body is not that great. I compared it to the MPC Vega and it would not make a good stock candidate. I have a mint Red Alert and I would like to find one to build. But, I ended up using a Jack Reacher Chevelle and still have not finished it. The Strip and Surf van would be cool just for the collection. I have never seen one in person. The Aqua Van and Boat would be a cool set to get back. I have seen them, but the prices are a bit much. The Strip and Surf van would get my nod for the rarest of the lot.

    The Fuel Tank behind the body that came in the Tweedy Pie got replaced with the pick up bed, and to my knowledge, did not come back until the re-issue

    So, now that I have established how I am going to paint it, what is the color? Some say Red, some say Orange and some say Red Orange. Like maybe a Poppy Red Any ideas or clues to the actual color?

    I think Bob Lambeck was in the Charger that year and I am sure Revell might do the kit since they have done two other Landy cars

    I'm lucky I have found a Mach 1 in pretty much mint shape in it's box and a glue bomb Iron Horse that is not that much of a glue bomb. Keep your eyes open at the kits shows or comic cons! You just never know what will turn up.

    My plan is to paint the car white, mask of the areas when doing the orange and then cover them with the decal to minimize the orange bleed.
