  1. I love these old AMT kits. My folks had a real/full size ‘61 Comet they bought brand new when I was a kid. It was dark blue with same color interior as in your model. In fact, I’m impressed with how good of a job you did on the interior of you kit. From what I remember your kits interior looks exactly like our Comet’s.

I love the T-Bird too. I love almost all Thunderbirds. And I love those 1/43 scale kits AMT issued back in the late 60’s.

    Hey,

Was searching stuff from my drawers and found this Porsche 356 B model car. I couldn’t find this car anywhere on the internet (atleast with the same stickers). The car has stickers that says

    ”Club de automoviles sport”

Does anyone here know anything about this model car?

    It’s a Burago die cast.

  3. It’s looks great. I have the same promo, in the same color. That is I’m assuming yours is like mine, and is not original, but one issued back around the year 2000. Which would also explain the $10.00 price tag. Which is right for the re-pop promo from that time. They are not uncommon. And we’re offered in both blue and red.

Really like it. ?  I am glad to see those parts get used, and used so well.  Now all you need is the 1/24 kit I have in the stash.  ?

Thank you Sam. Without your help, this car would not have turned out as nice as it did. I can’t thank you enough.

A 1/24 scale 1955 Thunderbird? I know AMT made a 1/25 scale one back in 1955. And Monogram first brought out their 1/24 scale 1956 Thunderbird back in 1979. But, I’ve never seen or heard of a ‘55 in 1/24 scale. I’d love to know more about it.

In the past I’ve build both AMT’s and Monogram’s 1956 T-Birds. I’m not a big fan of the ‘56 because of the Continental spare tire. Yet I’ve built them both none the less. My favorite 2-seat Bird is really the ‘57. I’ve built several of AMT’s classic 1/25 scale  ‘57 Thunderbirds over the years. I also have their latest 1/16 scale release waiting to to be built. I’d love to find and build one of their ‘57 1/25 scale Craftsman kits someday. As for the original AMT 1/25 ‘55, I’ve never seen one for sale. And I’m sure as rare as it is, I could never afford one.
