  1. ??? Other than side maker lights, I've never seen a lot of differences between the '67 and '68 Cougar. I have noticed the difference between the '67 and '68 Mustangs. Grilles, steering and more padding to the dash. And the '68 Cougar did get the new design steering too. But, beyond those two items, steering wheel and side marker lights, I don't see a lot visual difference in the two years of Cougar. Scott
  2. That a very fun and nicely done diorama. I like it. Scott
  3. I don't remember anybody predicting that. And I'm still blown away by it. In some ways it's much better and more useful than the other things they predicting back in the day. Scott
  4. Nope. Neither one works for me. Both are ugly. The Ariel Atom is just a little less ugly. Scott
  5. Love the car. But nothing was realalisticly thought out in that movie. That's not the point. It a stupid, but full movie, with a cool looking car. Just sit back and enjoy. And when questions of reality creep in, just keep reminding your self it's just a movie. And that it's okay. Scott
  6. Just ordered one off of eBay. I'm imspired Rob's foot steps and go with a cool color. Rather than the warm yellow you normally see this kit done in. Great job Rob. Scott
  7. Don't enlight him, until he enlightens us on his postings. Scott
  8. I assume that's used for express deliveries. Scott
  9. The engine id test I got 16 out of 17. I didn't know the dipstick clue on iding the 348 from the 409. Scott
  10. This has become ridiculous. How many threads are there on this subject? I personally gave up month's ago trying to post pictures here. Unless you know how to use outside services, you can not post pictures here. Scott
  11. Can't top that. But, I'm sure I got some started in the 80's waiting to be finished. Someday.... Maybe.... Scott
  12. That's my advice too. Testor One Coat Lacquer is okay. But in general I stay away from Testors spray paint. I pay more for Tamiya, but I'm much happier in the end. Scott
  13. 9 out of 10 on the auto one. I'm a little disappointed in myself. The question about why an engine runs smoothly threw me for a loop. Scott
  14. Okay. Who are these people? And why should they replace Clarkson? Scott
  15. Wow! That video blew me away. Is that cool! Scott
  16. The reason the model your looking at has a metal chassis rather than a plastic one, is that it is not a true "promo". It's a prebuilt friction model sold to be used as a toy. Some people do not put as high of a value on fictions vs. promos. Mainly because of the chassis. Promos, for the most part, had the more the detailed plastic chassis, and in most cases were painted in factory correct colors. Frictions have the simpler chassis with the fiction motor in them. And can be found either not painted or in non factory color. And then there are the promos with the radio. The model your looking at looks okay. Other than the broken sun visor. If you plan on fixing it up and painting it, it should be okay at that price. Scott
  17. I agree with you on that. Scott
  18. I agree with everything you've said here, above. Working the education field I work very hard at trying to turn out knowledgeable and wise children for the future. And in general, I think we'll be okay. Scott
  19. I've had a couple of busy days lately. So I did not get to send out to you guys my greetings on St. Urho's day, this last Monday. For those of you who don't know the legend of St. Urho, here is what one source I have has to say: "And so it was that on the sixteenth day of the third month, Urho, voice loud from sour milk and fish soup, did drive the offending insects from the land. "Grasshopper, grasshopper go from hence to hell!" (Heinasirkka, Heinasirkka, mene taalta hiiteen!) said he, thus saving the grape harvest, and the oenophiles of the world rejoiced." I hope you had a good St. Urho's day. And remembered to wear purple on that day. Oh... And I hope you enjoyed the celebration of that minor Irish saint, what's his name, on the next day too. Scott
  20. Very good. I too got a good laugh out of that one. Scott
  21. That's kind of cool. It will never replace piloted jets for doing the same thing. But, doing that type of flying from remote control is impressive too. Scott
  22. I got all 13 correct. The one on the main gas composing the earth's atmosphere was the only one I wasn't 100% sure of as I answered it. I found the other 12 very easy. Scott
  23. I have a beautiful '60 Galaxie Town Victiora promo. It's got some minor warpage. In fact it looks like it was slightly t-boned on one side. But to me it's still exceptable. My understanding is exposer to light is what does them in. Scott
