  1. I had a 79 scooter when I was a senior in high school in 87. It was an automatic and did have carpet. It was a black interior with body color steel in most places it wasn't cardboard and plastic. It did have silver painted bumpers, as well as an AM radio and no globe box door. I found a set of for lug Cragars I put on it to be funny. It was a great car...and gas station stops were to check the gas and fill the oil. It leaked oil from everywhere something fierce. The no door glove box almost got me in trouble. I had a bag of plaster of Paris for an ecology assignment and was pulled over for a cracked windscreen. He saw that bag and almost had a cow. Ohio staties have been very good with me and once he found out we had a good laugh about it. I was one scared seventeen year old though!

  2. Very nice mj! It looks nice in red. Horsepower, I would loved to have seen the full size builds of both the II and the Pinto. I have seen a few of the v8 Mustangs here, both stock and built...but I have only seen one built Pinto. I saw it driving and so didn't get to actually check it out. I bet both of them were a blast to drive too. You rarely see them with the built up 6 so I bet that was cool too.

  3. Thanks everyone. I did forget to sand the tires. The color is ModelMaster Acapulco Blue metallic. It is a very good looking color...and it helps that blue seems to be my favorite color too. :)

  4. Sam, that is a good idea. I was looking at the problem too big. I was thinking about a small hood scoop but I like your idea better.

Thank you Slusher. I may try the foil on the Jag I posted a while ago. It is really cool when finished. I even know where all the mistakes are and am generally happy with it.

  5. Hello Everyone,

Here is my Mustang II I just finished. It isn't great but I was just trying to get something finished. I hope to get something more finished soon. The hood sets a little high in the rear due to a miscalculation in how the air cleaners set. I did BMF on this one. I did notice I forgot to do the emblem trim with the "Ford" front and back. The interior dash was done using kitchen foil, dull side out for the brushed look. I made arm rests, door handles, and manual window winders as well. Unfortunately, you can't see them with a picture. I thought it was cool since I don't see these very often. It was a "cheap" one. It has the metal axles. It will do in a pinch. Now I am off to begin a 1969 Cutlass.

Thanks for looking, and I am open to suggestions to better my skills. Oh, this is my first BMF with thin trim. I have done one other car, a 52 Chevy...but the foiling is not quite as intricate as the "newer" cars.

  6. Hello everyone! My name is Jerry and I am from Zanesville, Ohio. I thought I would give a new post a try and show the Jaguar that I did about a year ago. I can't remember which company made it, but it was a challenge to do. I would like it to look better, but at least it looked decent (at least I think so) when finished. I used a lot of putty at the horizontal body junction. I painted it green...although it is not BRG it looked close enough for my taste. It is not shiny, I will hopefully get to that point sometime in my modelling career! :P Thanks for looking.

Oh, feel free to give feedback or to let me know if there is something I should have done before posting pics. I looked but saw nothing regarding. I could have overlooked something though, my wife says I am ADD.

    Cheers,

    Jerry
