The lenco is what had me scratching my head lol but the rod makes complete sence. I didn't see hardware holding it together.
Keep up the incredible work!

Well over the last few months ive been reasearching and planning this build.
Ive decieded to put as much detail (as i am capable of) into the 1955 sportsman with an updated chassis. all of this build is going to be 1sts for me and im happy how its turning out so far
These are only my mock up wheelie bars
Then i had to cut out the rear of the tub to accomidate the new style bars

yes please send link more references are always welcomeLast year NAPA bought my dad and I the full access tickets for the Capps/Schumacher pit. Since Ron has started to get familiar with me [i'm a pain and always represent NAPA] he allowed me access to take close up pics of his car for a future project.
I'll post pics here in this thread for anyone who wishes to see the differences.
Just have to find the folder they are in.

Im working on a new fc chassis now anx trying to update and make it current. The biggest headache is building the upper prtion of the roll cage as todays cars have sheet metal, or carban fiber aswell as tubing. Other than that trying to make a correct intake manifold for a 1471 blower and swap the stock dual mags with msd 44s, oh and the bell housing.

Either you are a very little man or you have insane talent. You are nothing short of a master

All I want are some 72 c10s from amt and some 80s chevy fleetsides
Oh and a repop of the 55 and 57 sportsman kits

This build looks great. I love that interior. But I had to giggle at the engine. I guess the factory forgot you can only notch an oil pan not the whole block lol. But your detail work is great
