  1. I fixed a spot to hang the flex shaft for me Dremel, and did some service to my Dremel Workstation, tightening things back up, and oiling it. Then, I drilled the holes in the header flanges for the Supermodified.
  2. Thank you, my friend! I had to rebuild the second one--i had somehow reversed a couple of pipes, in the collector. It's fixed, now! Thanks for your comments, as always!
  3. Yes, it is. Thank you! After I got them shrunk to size/shape, I gently reheated them and used my thumbnail to press it around the primaries. It looks more complete, to me.
  4. Thank you kindly, Ian. You're doing some fine work, yourself! Thanks for looking!
  5. One side is done. It's at least marginally better than the kit piece!? I built it to spec, according to the 1975 Chevrolet Power book--well, as close to spec as I could get it, based on material at hand. Its configuration pretty well mimics the line drawing in aforementioned book.
  6. I molded their 1/25 scale engine from the old parts pack. I wish I hadn't started whacking on the Triumph, before I got a chance to mold it.
  7. For the connectors? I think that has possibility. What did you use for the 90 degree plug boots? They look great!
  8. The wheels are turning. I have a mold of the Revell Harley engine. While there's no sanction for racing it, who's to say somebody wouldn't have done it, just because? Might be fun!
  9. Charlie, your work is impeccable! When I see the work that you, and Francis and Tim are doing on the mill, I am inspired to push myself to try new things with mine. I am nowhere near the machinist that you guys are, but, you've helped me to expand my horizons, and, thanks to that inspiration, I have accomplished things I wouldn't have tried, before. Thank you!
  10. Thanks, Andy. Yeah, it's pretty amazing to think about the "power" we carry around with us! It's got more computing power than any of my first two or three computers did.
  11. That's a great idea, with the floor pan!
  12. Nice! I used this to form the cowl for my junior fueler. I built the body using an article in two 1968(?) issues of Hot Rod, in which Tom Hanna describes and illustrates how he built a "shorty" dragster body. Nice work, Ian!
  13. I am beginning work on the headers. I used heat shrink tubing for the collectors. Once the pipes were aligned, and the tubing shrunk, I carefully re-heated the tubing, and formed it around the individual pipes. I made a buck, from the same solder I will be using for the headers, and tapered the end with sanding sticks, until it was the same diameter as the pipe. I am pretty happy with the way they worked out! I was able to bend the "tailpipe" by supporting the sides in my bench vise. One has a slight dimple in the inner radius. I will likely make another to replace it. As always, questions, comments and critiques are welcomed. Thanks for looking!
  14. The work computer is my phone! Fortunately, I don't have to much time to kill, since I go do my thing, then go home!
  15. Both are very cool! Looks like I will have new wallpaper on the computer, once I get home from work. Thank you, kindly, sir!
  16. Well, I'll be...danged! Thanks, Jesse!
  17. Bean Bandits, a bit, maybe?
  18. I agree, Mike. I think I am going to have a lot of fun, dressing-up this one!
  19. I had to cut away some of the rear body, to get it to clear the chassis tubes, (which also ha to be trimmed)--It fits, now! Using their own color chart, I "Zolatoned" the interior of the body. Attached is I added bolts to the engine plate, ran the harness for the kill switch, and installed the bracket for the throttle rod. I think that I will be working on the header flanges, next. I will use them to make a jig to build the headers. It's getting there, little by little. A always, comments, questions and critiques are welcome. Thanks fer lookin'!
  20. We are of like mind, in the "details" department! Thank you, as always for your thoughts and comments, my friend!
  21. Now, that is frigging cool!
  22. I have been using Blinggasm, in both clear and white, the past few years. I have had very good results, with it. I found It on Amazon.
  23. I would paint it. Artistic license is great, but, accuracy is greater!
