  1. i work in a machine shop and ive ran the lathe for a few years and the fact that your turning these tiny parts amazes me. i can do it on a good day but not repeatedly like you lol, very nice build.
  2. so compared to pretty much every build here mine is far from mosts skill level but just so you guys can see who i am. a few years ago i got a model for christmas and built it. i just moved out and most times my roommates gone and all i have to do is watch tv so i decided to try this hobby again so i just ordered an ss s10 model and i remembered that i had this el camino so i grabbed it and just wasnt to impressed mainly with the body. it had finger marks all in the paint and the two colors it was painted were smudged together so i stripped it down and (this is where it gets different than most) just put primer on it. after the primer im going to spray it with camo green. this is just the first step along the way. when i pulled it out of the box that i had it sitting in two rims and tires where broken off (one of them no where to be found) so i will be ordering new rims and tires. i found a set of irocs on hobbylinc.com. annnnnyways heres some pics of the car.
  3. Hi my names tommy, I'm from michigan. A year or two ago I built a 1:25 1986 el camino and that was the end of building for me until Recently. I moved out and boredom set in so I grabbed my model and tore it apart since it wasn't very pretty and I ordered a 1:20 s10 model. Right now I'm planning on getting new rims and tires for the el camino, painting it again, and for the s10 I'm going to attempt to rust the hood(paint), lower it, and different rims and tires. Looking forwar to the help this forum has to offer and hopefully helping others in the long run
