  1. No real updates, been busy at work!
  2. Stunning!
  3. Very Nice
  4. So in light of the recent what scale do you build thread, I realized that some may build larger scale models just because it is easier. My hands are not as steady as they once were, and I have adjusted to the scale I like to build by doing less fiddly kits and not getting bogged down with details. All that building for shows or cramming as much stuff in as possible was more of a chore than a hobby. By knowing my own abilities, yet still pushing myself to do better I have discovered that modeling can be fun! So no matter what subject or scale you build, what have you done to help your model hobby continue? Magnifiers, clips, lighting, tweezers, tape? Change in scale, subject or style?
  5. I don't know of anyone who uses more imagination then you. You always surprise me Ira and that an't easy to do!
  6. Perhaps it's all the eye of the beholder! Those of us with better sight build 1/25 and the rest build other scales. Now something really important, what font should I be using...
  7. I understand your comment and agree. I have rarely built any other scale than 1/25. But have cross scaled with 1/24 for a bash or two.
  8. Some rough chassis pics...
  9. A few pics from the show... http://s176.photobucket.com/user/fredjames_2007/library/Stark%20Show%202015?sort=2&page=1 My son Dylan,
  10. I found a Tom D. Red Baron and an original AMT 69 Ford Galaxy for $20.
  11. This by far is one of the nicest customs I've seen. From the stance, to the amazing interior and the slippery paint, this Riv is as good as they get. It was a pleasure to see up close and a well deserved show winner. Well Done
  12. You as well Eric!
  13. I have this M/T engine from another model I haven't finished and thought it would work well. And I think I can even work out a color scheme to suit.
  14. Had a great day at the show, saw friends and met new people. Found some bargains and was blessed with a win. I have to tell you this was one of the better small town shows I've been to. Would go back again and again!
  15. The good LORD willing my son and I will be there in the morning.
  16. Thank you, it's a frame from any one of the Revell 32's. I'll post some pics of it as I go along. The bed is shortened, obviously! the top chopped and slightly raked. Wheels from the Rat Roadster. (Which is't a Rat at all) I also ct down the grill to match the channel closer. More to follow...
  17. Just kicking around an idea I have, From the Lindberg Kit...
  18. Nice! That'l need fixed...
