  1. I believe the Gasser class called for the radiator and support to be in place. If it did not they would be in the Altered class I think. I'm sure there are experts who can say for sure.
  2. That was the first thing I checked and there is plenty of clear. I'll try to get a pic of it up later.
  3. Some good looking details here....
  4. Nothing New! Been hibernating like a Grizzly.
  5. If interested, the beginnings of my correction!
  6. Chassis is looking pretty good!
  7. Wheels found on ebay. And thought I would do something about that ugly windshield height! The wheels neede to measure .750 ti fit. I was having trouble finding any that size, then stumbled across these. Fit is perfect. Cut and re-scribed
  8. I like it! Nice use of color and finishes. Is the exhaust finished?
  9. Thanks guys, made up a front bumper this weekend with lights and wench...
  10. Focus! I have four or five serious builds going. Very unusual for me to have more than two at any given time. But with winter bearing down here in the north eastern Buckeye state, painting is almost out of the question. I have a nice spaybooth set up in the pole building but just to cold to heat up much. So I build and wait. The problem now is I continue to have new ideas and am strongly tempted to start more projects! Last thing I want is a bunch of non-finished builds sitting around. I'm thinking a build list is in order. Mercury Hardtop 50 Buick 77 Ford 4x4 Tobias relec racer Underslung 32 And so on... How do you keep FOCUS?
  11. I enjoy creating vehicles I could never do in 1:1 due to available space and mainly cost! And as the good Doctor said, it is a great way to keep the creativity going. I also enjoy wrenching and riding my old Shovelhead, but that hard to do when its 6deg. and snowing. Besides, you meet the nicest people at a model show...
  12. For those interested, here is a look at the New Boss. Shortened bed, beefed up frame and some resin 4x4 parts...
  13. Maybe, two cuts from front to back, just short of the front edge and just wide enough to clear the intake. Raise that center section to clear height and fill sides with styrene and filler. From the top view it would appear stock and from the side it would be raised.
  14. I have a slightly warped hood. (77 F250) After heating and straightening, it returns to the warped shape when cooled off. I have tried to straighten several times with the same result each time. I am now concerned about damaging it. Any ideas?
  15. I like what your doing. The engine is very nice. I would like to know why the lower cab corner was removed though?
  16. Good on'ya...
  17. Well done on the wheels, I have done the same thing many times. I hope to follow along as you put this together. Flocking looks good, waiting for more...
  18. Winter, waiting on weather, for paint. Waiting on parts/supplies to arrive. Boredom! Another build may inspire me more. And occasionally I just mess up and set a build aside... I will say I rarely build from only one kit and I have been able to finish 95% of those projects I start.
  19. The Whistle Stop is a great shop, good people all around. If Kevin does not have it, he can get it. Usually in a few days. Happy modeling!
  20. Great story, good to still have some older builds also. as far as re-builds go... Leave the stacks, pull the SB and go Diesel!
  21. I have not built a bug yet, but this build will help. Thanks!
