  1. Most guys are trying to put louvers on, you file them off! Could you send them to me please? It is looking good...
  2. THX
  3. Very nicely done! Hope to see you Saturday!
  4. Oustanding model. Your attention to detail really payed off with over all fit and finish. Given the proper back drop this one would fool you into thinking it is a 1:1 car!
  5. Thanks for the interest and comments everyone!
  6. Great looking model, seems to have a nice mix of old and new. Very clean build and a smooth hot rod paint job. Have any interior pics?
  7. Looking real nice there!
  8. Thanks guys! Mike, I hope to be there. I am going to the Stark Model Show Saturday though, it'll be there.
  9. Thanks Larry. Tim your the reason I built both streetroadsters, if you remember.
  10. Thanks Larry, I bought one of those kits too, just for parts!
  11. That looks nice!
  12. Inspired by the Mongoose Motorsports Corvette, the chassis has been modified to use straight axles. Body mods are pretty basic, just smoothed and filled in all the right places. I used the 62 Corvette Gasser as a donor kit, with a plumbed and wired engine, the chrome was removed and painted with Alclad chrome, interior is stock in a nice cream color with simulated wood grain on the steering wheel. The finish is Tamiya Pearl Green and Clear, polished slightly. I used the kit headers but made my own tube exhaust. Over all I'm pretty happy with the outcome...
  13. Just wanted to say thanks for the interest. This was a fun build for me, using mostly spare parts and some scratch building. It took quite some time to complete but I'm happy with the outcome. Funny how a hobby can bring such frustration and satisfaction all at the same time! Model on...
  14. CANNONBALL
  15. I'm gonna build a nose bleeder, gasser, streekfeek, taildragger.
  16. Nice clean build you have there...
  17. You can never go wrong with a 57 drag car, nicely done
  18. What kind of $#!% storm are you trying to start? A blue Corvette with flames, cool wheels and slicks, a blown 6 banger. And a front end in the atmosphere! OMG I LOVE IT! Very cool and thanks for sharing it...
  19. Looking smooth, nice interior and colors. What engine will you be using?
  20. Way cool car, great execution and a well done model. I like it.
  21. Looking good. The clear will make everything have the same sheen but seals the weathering. Doing the weathering last creates more contrast. IMHO
  22. Such a sweet and well crafted creation. All the different techniques and designs were executed beautifully. WELL DONE!
  23. very nice...
  24. Finally able to get some assembly done. Just a few more things on the body and then I can finish the interior...
