Up next in my quest to build the Delta Wing Force, this Jimmy Flintstone body over an original Craftsman chassis and tub. Let's see where this leads us shall we?

The question remains the same, what do you do to bust a slump? Diecast might just do it!

What would you do to get out of a slump?

In this hobby occasionally we all encounter builders block or a slump.. Sometimes we push through it or pull a project off the shelf and try to get the creative juices flowing. Or do you keep a few simple kits around for just such an occasion? I bought this at a show for $10 and keep for a just in case build... How do you bust a slump?

Hey Wayne, not lately. I finished up the El Camino and then painted the 55. I've been stuck on a color choice, I need to find some nail polish that's got bling! -

Thanks guys! The 210 had a different chrome package than the Belair. The rear side spear was solid and no chrome on the front fenders. Also the chrome only ran on the bottom of the side windows and around the front and rear windows.

I remember glueing one side in place and the other to the hood. At least that way you can remove it easily. Cool project you have my interest.

While working on the El Camino I came across a pic of a 55 Chevy 210 and decided to do one myself . I started with an AMT Belair kit and reworked the trim. I also decked the hood for a smoother look. I'll be modifying the chassis slightly, but will remain a streetable machine. SB power and a black interior is in order.
