Hi all finished the wheels on the Bentley(Not a task I will ever undertake again) did a bit more weathering on the engine too.

It's 1/24 scale thanks for looking.

Hi all not much of an update (these wheels I wish I hadn't started, still I'm getting better with each one, By the time I've done the last one I will be pretty good at it). Just to show I am still working on it.

Well I fixed it I filled my revell precision glue pot with super glue then I made a little hole in the air bubble and squeezed the superglue in the hole, then I gradually squeezed the excess glue and air out of the hole. I fixed the decals with a hair drier, I put it on maximum( I figured I had ruined the body anyway so nothing to loose) I heated the decals up then squeezed them flat with some tissue.

Well thanks for following along I dont see my boss's husband buying this now, and I've gone and taken a commission from my boss now I feel guilty now she's paid for the models and I've bought them but I've obviously not got the skills to deliver, I must have been mad to agree. I've ruined the Bentley , I will finish it but it certainly won't be on display anywhere. These next three pics show whats gone wrong(yes I know I could get a new body from Airfix and some decals) but to be honest I cant be asked I've lost all interest in it now, I will finish it but just to say its done and get it out the way. .

Hi all here is a small update. I got one wheel done but it took soooo long and looked total rubbish so after finding this tip on britmodeler I thought I wouls give it a go added breaking linkages and carb linkages I got the breaking linkages and the carb ones from roymatblacks great pdf

Hi all here is tonight's bit. I have cut off the steering column (not my idea got it from stevieo) and replaced it with part of my extending mirror. and here is more progress on the rest I understand these car bodys were covered with cloth and am thinking of covering it with paper and painting that, do you think that would give a clothe effect finish.

Hi all here is tonights update, I made the mistake for deciding to replace the plastic spokes with real ones, I am going to live to regret that decision

Not sure how I will remove the stubs from the rivets, I'm sure I will figure it out before I need them though. Anyway here is the progress today.

Well I got some rivets, nuts and braided hoses today for detailing her also found an old base from the Christie steam fire engine which was too badly broken to be repaired and anyway I've stolen lots of bits off it for other dios, so thought since its cobbled stones it would be good as a base for the Bentley. I've filled sanded and primed the people for the base as well.

Thanks guys i was sorely tempted to leave some of the decals off but glad I didn't in the end.

Ok well the Fiesta is finished. I think its a lovely little kit and the car looks very pretty

I think humbrol put the wrong paint in the can there is no way a water based acrylic paint should do this to plastic. Now I can believe cellulose doing that.
