Just looked it up. Only "Born to be Wild" and "The Pusher," which I didn't know or had forgotten was written by Hoyt Axton. They had quite a few WAY better songs than those two, IMHO.

Checked my Walmart for ammo this morning. Lots of shotgun hunting ammo, a good deal of rifle hunting ammo, no .22s, very little if any handgun ammo of any kind, no 5.56 or 7.62. Indefinitely. I've shot a good deal of ammo from WWII. I've also shot both .22s and handloads I reloaded in the '80s that have sat in my my NON-temperature controlled garage since the early '90s and it's all fine. And some of that .22 ammo was bought in the mid-'70s.

That's a pretty clever policy. There have been a LOT of new/first-time gun buyers in the last few months. You're right, if you weren't already in the game, why would you buy a game if you couldn't get ammo for it. My son called last week wanting to buy some .22 ammo from me. He told me the cheapest he could find was almost 10x as much as the stuff I bought not THAT many years ago.

I really enjoy America's Got Talent and The Voice. I quit watching American Idol when the last of the original judges left.

Realized that I had a chunk of cash I won't be needing for a while, so I asked at my bank about a certificate of deposit. They told me the current interest rate is one third of one percent! I'be be better off investing in ammo, assuming I could find any to buy.

It sure seems like HC is filling a lot of time with American Pickers this year. The Lovely Mrs. Snake will watch Antiques Roadshow for hours on end, but won't watch Pickers or Pawn Stars, which are both essentially the same thing. I find it amazing that Deadliest Catch is still on the air. I've only seen a few episodes, but they were all basically exactly the same thing. And that goes double for Wicked Tuna (on NatGeo). If you've seen one, you've seen every episode ever. Stupidest show I've seen in years is Dodgeball Thunderdome. The first episode was kinda fun/interesting, but I can't imagine wanting to see any more of it. I am really missing Battlebots and No Prep Kings this year.

I've been re-watching the last three seasons of Street Outlaws, and Memphis Street Outlaws from the beginning. I find it interesting that the two groups could hardly be more different. The 405 show could be called Real Housewives of Street Racing, while the Memphis show could be used as a class in good sportsmanship and team-building.

Disagree. The JS and MP audiences would be bored silly by anything on History Channel. And vice versa.
