Report I read said a stroke, age 83. I wasn't a huge fan of his music, but he was a great patriot and friend of America and I always respected him for that. RIP, CD. You will be missed.

Saw one of these at the gas station yesterday morning: Black 2-door coupe, black interior, Hurst T-handle, 15" American TTs on the biggest tires the guy could physically get in the wheel wells, slight rake. It don't get much better than that, and I made sure to tell the guy so. He appreciated the attention from someone who knew exactly what it was.

My Mom's! It looked just like this one, except it was a 4-door and had wheel covers instead of Rallys. (Closest pic I could find on the net.) Come to think of it, I could build THIS car from the AMT kit, couldn't I?

I seem to have been afflicted with Mustang Fever. Specifically, AMT '66 Mustang Fastback Fever. I just restored original two survivors, then finished up a new build of an AWB street freak. And then I saw this on on eBay and HAD to have it. It's far and away the cleanest "survivor" or glue bomb or "pre-loved" model I've ever bought. It's SO nice it doesn't even need washing. Can't really call what I'm gonna do to it "restoration" as it's already in perfectly original condition. It's gonna be more like one of my trademark diecast Snake-Fu jobs--Silver Sharpie the window trim, detail the wheels, sand the tire treads, and that's about it. If the mood strikes me to go nuts on it, I could paint the carpet and dashboard black. The icing on the cake is the original box, which I didn't have one of yet. I am a pretty happy camper today!

foil-casting, what brand do you use?

Wooden toothpicks and a pencil eraser are your friends. -
OMG, I got my driver's license in a green '70 Impala with that color green interior! By all means, drive on!

Hey, I've got a '67 glue bomb here that I'm thinking of Snake-slapping back together in gray primer.
-
Sweet! But if you're going for factory stock, the entire central panel on the passenger side should be brushed aluminum, not just the edge of it. Drive on!

Apparently you're not the first person who's asked this question. Lotta info available. https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=0RgDX9m_G_zDytMPk_ar8AM&q=sears+craftsman+tool+warranty&oq=sears+craftsman+t&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQARgHMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADoICAAQ6gIQjwE6BQgAELEDOgcIABCxAxAKOgUIABCDAToECAAQCjoICAAQFhAKEB5QgA5Yp2NgwIUBaANwAHgAgAHIAogBwA6SAQgxNS4yLjEuMZgBAKABAaoBB2d3cy13aXqwAQo&sclient=psy-ab

Looking good in primer! To be honest with you, if that were on my workbench, at this point I would seriously be considering finishing it in primer. Not saying that you should, just telling you that I would be thinking about it. Drive on!

Fabulous! Absolutely beautiful work! And you're not too far from making Tomcat out of it. Well done and model on!

You're not trying to take the foil OFF the casting, are you? -

Premiered it? On my cable screen, it said "Ends 7/4" yesterday so I considered myself lucky to have recorded it in time. Thanks for the heads-up on Midway. Been wanting to see that one too. I also recorded Ad Astra yesterday, which I've also been wanting to see. -

Sorry, I was out at the words "God's Rambo." Nope. -

Cheap generic stuff. Toothpicks and a pencil eraser are your friend in this work, too. -

I know I'm late to this party, but I just started watching it last night. I'm about an hour in. (Will finish it tonight, I hope.) I'm not hating Myatt Dyaymon quite as much as I expected to, but I think the guy playing Iacocca would have made a better Carroll Shelby. -
Okay, we look forward to having you aboard.

Looking good! Why not join the Bring Out Your Dead build? Looks like you could be the first completion of Round 8, which just started.
