Interesting, I've never heard this before. How did it need fixing? Is the Revell version any better do you know? Going to be an interesting job.

Sorry I may not explaining very well myself.

I bought a junkyard lot a while ago and decided to fix 2 of the AMT  KW cabs first.  Been this cab that I’m  using the worse of the two. I  slowly was fixing the cab, but still need some TLC. For your question about which is the better the Revell KW100 is a little challenging for me since is a multi parts. I have one cab with all the interior WIP and a new one in the box. Here is some pictures of what I try to explaining of the AMT cab that I’m fixing

    Thanks for your comment

  2. Hello everyone!! For this topic I’m going to build this rescue junkyard cab for the AMT KW100. The cab has some work rear panel has been replaced, aerodyne front roof window angle has been fixed. Cab lower panel is resin  cast by my me.

The interior will be a mix of Amt and Revell interior. The chassis and front axle is from the AMT KW123, suspension is from the Revell KW900 rear rims are resin.

     Thanks

That will be fine as long as the Kit is NOT starting. Kit must be unstarted  not even 25% started stated in the Rules I provided at the beginning of this thread. Some people are getting this confused with the BRBO which this GB is not. Thanks

Is just a repair cab that I saved from a junkyard cabs that I bought a while ago!! My project would be a AMT KW 100 kit bash 😃!!

I also noted on the basic early grill, that depending on the engine you have, the grill openings are different. I am not sure if this is something that would be offered, or just the most open style.

  5. Hi everyone, has been almost 4 years science my last post. Things change for my Superliner with sleeper , I removed the paint in the cab and sleeper wasn’t happy with the results. Instead I’m used two top of the original sleeper and make tall sleeper 🤪. Looks ok for now needs to rework to make it look better! I also replace the wheels front and rear.

here is a picture of the chassis.

    more pictures during this week.
