I had another loader in a 2016 salvage yard diorama. I sold it with my entire collection but now looking for it again.

Coming along nicely! Keep us posted.

Not much into diecasts but that looks pretty kool!!! Where did you get the forklift??
Found it on eBay. I'm working on an accompanying junk yard scene that will use built models.

Outstanding! I'm impressed with your scratch-building skills. Nice phots throughout your project too.

Looks good so far, but you've got your work cut out! Is that an old JoHan model?

Impressive. If I'd only seen the photos, I'd have thought it was real!

At 68, my eyes and hands just won't do what they used to do. Dammit! It's inspiring to see beautiful work like yours.

This diorama is absolutely brilliant! Did you plan such a project from the start, or was it the result of having built so many Impalas over the years? I'mnot sure what WPCD means - are they promos? Are they all based on the AMT kit? I'm also impressed with your figures. Are you modifying the driver/mechanic figures that come in kits?
You probably have already answered these questions in an On the Workbench post somewhere. Forget my asking, and just look at this as my way of appreciating your elaborate creation.
Thanks for asking and thanks for the compliments. Ain't been building many models lately while concentrating on the diorama and a back story to go along with it. The story is a little risqué for some forums, so I've got it on my website @ https://www.shamblesmodels.com/blog-index.html. Those are all West Coast Precision 1:24 die cast models. I've added a Shambles Performance Salvage shop and fleet to the diorama and having a blast doing it! I design and print the decals for the signs and vehicles and mess around with Photoshop for backgrounds and other stuff.
I'm updating my site gradually each day. I'd be flattered if yall would check it out.

That's still a pretty decent kit for its age.
I remember watching the show but I don't remember the Cobra. I might not have been into cars yet at that point. Didn't she have some oddball cat as a pet, like an ocelot or something? I seem to remember she always wore black turtlenecks.
Same here. I don't remember the cars, but I sho' remember her! ?

Dang! I'd forgotten about Black Sabbath. I was a huge fan, if I remember correctly?

I could give it a try, but when you scan in a small image and enlarge it, it loses resolution and becomes pixelated. I think Gary was going to send me the 1:32 kit decals which wouldn't require as much enlargment.

I'm a Corvette enthusiast (real and scale) and love it! Very nice work. I've built dozens of kits (mostly stock) and have 30+ DM, FM, and Exoto die cast Corvettes in my current collection.

I'm a fan of weathering. I watched a lot of the 24 hr Rolex and the cars look like that when they finish. Nice job!

Looking good, Paul. Don't let dioramas consume you like they have me!

Love it! Watching 24 hr at Daytona as I type.

My late, younger brother found this glue bomb '72 Corvette convertible at a yard sale. We were both into models all of our lives and he wanted me to "save" this one. This was 25 years ago and it's a little sentimental for me. I'm a Corvette enthusiast (http://www.shamblesmodels.com/real-cars.html) and my first one was a '72 coupe. I don't remember exactly what this model looked like when I got it, and I don't have any before photos, but here's the after photos:

Outstanding! Excellent work.
