To be honest I'm not sure how to tell if it's a newly tooled kit or not. There's almost zero flash if that's any indication.
-
It's a Revell kit. I think it might be fairly new. Scored it at Bennys for 16 bucks. It's molded in white. I painted it that blue and it hasn't gotten a clear coat yet.

Looks really good. Keep it up man!

Interiors always get me aggravated. You always need just the exact amount of paint, any excess runs into a line it shouldn't. Drives me nuts!
-
Did you fix that hood scoop into place and then painted the hood? Or did you paint them separately?
-
If you guys had to recommend one model to someone, what would it be?
-
Man I've seen a few of those at a local hobby lobby and I haven't grabbed one. I should've grabbed one

That kit comes with a supercharger?

Looks fantastic! Great work

Wow, I thought that chassis came in a kit! Great work

Thanks a million guys. I guess that's the cool thing about modeling, if at first it's not the right color, paint it again!
-
So I have a model that I royally messed up the paint on. Can I just spray a few layers of primer over and then repaint it? Or should I strip it of the paint first?

This build just gets better and better every update. Keep 'em coming!

I can't wait to see this thing finished. Gonna be INCREDIBLE. Those wheels are perfect

I was thinking about giving a plastic tote a go. Just wasn't sure if it would give me enough room but it looks like they're big enough. Thanks!

This is coming along nicely. I really like the look of that grill. I might try that sometime. Is there anyway you could post a picture of your booth? I'm looking to put one together for myself

Been following this for a while, just keeps getting more incredible each post

The interior looks real. Great job

Thanks a lot Monty. I'll definitely be on the look for that tamiya the next time I'm in the hobby shop. And the kit directions called for gold headers, I did scratch my head a little on that one. Is there any advice on installing headers? I usually have to put up a good fight to get all 4 of those suckers glued on tight. I didn't even put them on a camaro I did!

Just picked this up today. I believe it's the Revell special edition version, just some fancy box art. Everything looks good so far
The majority of the engine parts all mounted ready to be painted.
And the same parts still not 100% completed
My next update should hopefully be an assembled engine, save some small details
