Hellow fellows.
Has anyone seen the rexona v8 spot on tv? welll in that spot apears a ferrari car which I never seen before, but it is wonderfull.
My question is: what kind of ferrari is supouse to be? or if it's a speciall car designed for the ocasion?

Why dont you paint like as les paul guitar (2 tones of gold), like my avatar?? will be great.

The color coats on the body are 1966 Chrysler Turbine Bronze (Dupont Acrylic Enamel) which was mixed at a local paint jobber called B.A.P.S. It was put it an aerosol, and I then transferred it to an airbrush jar and sprayed it with my Badger Crescendo.
The clearcoat is Tamiya water based acrylic X-22, which also had to be airbrushed after thinning it down a bit with their thinner. After this was sufficiently dry.........I rubbed out the clearcoat with Detail Master polishing cloths (3600-12,000 grit) and waxed with Meguair's Car Cleaner Wax.

This kit was one of my Christmas presents from the wife and kids, so I always make it a point to build one of the kits during the year. Lots of mold lines in difficult spots but not a bad kit so far. Just been working on the body for now. I may drop it lower and make it plow pavement, but I'm undecided at this point. The wheels came out of the Revell 32 coupe kit.
what kind of a blue did you use?? and what brand is?

Now, the promised is debt: more photos of the dodge viper srt10
This model was painted with acrilic automotive paint. The color was a mixture among aluminum, and black, becauseI want to make a diferent tipe of viper.
The CF hood, was a decal, which I created by my self. ( I picked up a CF patern, and I copied. Then I pasted in microsoft word (that those days I hasen't know to use photoshop, neither ilustrator, to edit the image) and I printed.
The reason that I used a CF decal, was that the paint finish on the hood, was not the best (in fact the paint finished was it was seen something wrinkled, because the acrylic had wrinkled the plástic). I believe that was the reason that obliged me to put cf decal.
To conclude I have to finish some of the engine details, and the joining all the parts.

First at all, I'm glad to be a member of this exellent car modelling forum, which I had a lots of problems to be a member.
Second, I would like to share my dodge viper srt10 in progres, which have 93% finish.

Yes, probably isn't a Ferrari car (see the windshield, it's more likely a Ford gt40), even that they put the ferrari's logo in the car.
And yes, could be a mix between Ford f40, and Ferrari 550 gt.
