  1. I use an ad blocker, and never had a problem with ads, or slow pic loading before. They say I need to change browsers from IE10.
  2. It's taking all day to load pictures.
  3. I have both Lindberg kits, and they are identical.
  4. Yeah, I know, just not my thing.
  5. I was joking too, I figured there would be more. I DO hope they get better than that.
  6. Ours had the Land Rover(still in a big box, no price) 65 Fairlane stocker, and 70 Ford 007 cop car, both $29.99. They might have had more, but they were still unpacking boxes.
  7. I haven't started it yet, I just got the decals for all the chrome scripts for the body. I'm just starting on the new 69 Chevelle, so it will be a while. I'm planning on a high school kid's car that he got from Grandpa, took to auto shop, and replaced the auto trans with a 4 speed, and replaced the front seat that Grandpa wore out. Thinking gold body with black interior.
  8. I hope there are more than that!
  9. I thought about using whitewalls and the stock wheel covers from the Revell 66 El Camino. I'm still not sure, but I think I'll go with black steel wheels with dog dishes, or maybe even baby moons for the high school kids car look.
  10. Ours has a clearance section, but the model kits rarely ever make it over there. They just red tag them, and they're gone in two days.
  11. I think the labels with the D on them are the old ones, I posted 3 posts above what mew labels were at the HL here. 65 Fairlane stocker-64 Plymouth-29 roadster-Schwinn bike.
  12. I bet AMT is doing even better with all of their reissues of cars that people built as kids.
  13. Stopped in for some paint today, and there were no new kits yet, but there were some new shelf labels. Coming soon: 65 Fairlane Mod Stock, AMT 64 Plymouth Belvedere, Revell 29 Ford Roadster, Schwinn 10 Speed bike, and I think there was one more that I can't remember.
  14. You are so right! I'll take dry 90s over humid 70s any day.
  15. I was using 5 min epoxy(I can read the bottle), and only used a Small amount(size of a thumb tack), and it started to get stringy on the first part, and was hardening by the time I got to the second part. I might have mixed it too long, I'll give it another try.
  16. That's what I thought, I went to get a display case, but couldn't pass up a kit for $7.49.
  17. I tried BSI two part 5 min epoxy, but it sets up so fast that it's hard before I can get anything glued. What's the trick?
  18. The HL here has kits on clearance. I think it started on Saturday, but I'm not sure which kits were marked down. The only one left was the 40 Ford gassser for $7.49, so I grabbed it. I hope that means we'll get some new stuff!
  19. Yeah, I always hated getting out of the shower, and not being able to get dried off.
  20. What a great way to screw up a good looking car!
  21. Yeah, I grew up in that nasty humidity, I think it adds 20 degrees to the temp. At least it's dry here.
  22. It was 104 degrees here yesterday(all time record high), already up to 100 today, and the same is expected for at least the next two days. I know this is normal for you Arizona boys, but not for us Idaho boys.
  23. I've got the 60 Pontiac Convertible kit, and it looks pretty good(and pretty complicated), so I'm just working up the courage to build it.
  24. It doesn't sound stupid to me, but I'd rather have a 57 Olds 88.
