The 56 Delray does have the chrome trim on the sides. Google has many ,many pictures of 1:1 56 Delrays and every one has trim, just like the Revell kit.
I'm starting the AMT Toyota pickup snap kit for a quick build, and I'm thinking of using the decals that come in the kit, but I can't find any pictures of any Toyota pickup with these same 4x4 graphics. Does anyone know if they were Toyota factory graphics? They look kind of familiar, but it seems like I have seen them on something different, like a Chevy Luv maybe.
Does anyone know if these are factory Toyota graphics? I can't find any pictures of a 1:1 Toyota that has them. They look familiar, but I thought they came on a different truck, like a Chevy Luv maybe.
Is this kit a 1980, or 1981? Are the graphics on the decal sheet factory stock Toyota? I did a google search, and couldn't find one Toyota pickup with those 4x4 stripes.
AMC supplied their cars for the last couple seasons, and I'm surprised that they let them portray the Matador the way they did. Poor Malloy was always taking it in to the shop for repairs, and complaining about it. Seemed like bad advertising to me.
Just checked the HL website, and it says that they are open. I printed my 40% coupon, and I will be there later today. I might pick up the AMT Toyota pickup snap kit. I don't normally do snap kits, but after seeing it here a couple times, it looks pretty good.
I HATE all car insurance commercials! I think that insurance companies should rely on good rates, and good customer service to sell their insurance, and these companies with the constant STUPID commercials don't offer either(they just say they do).
What kills me about the "new miracle drug" commercials is, at the end of every one they say not to take it if you are allergic to it, but how do you know if you are allergic to it if it's new.
I remember the older Jeeps being referred to as CJ-5, or CJ-7s(I had a couple of these). Since then, I don't recall hearing any Jeeps identified by these letter designations, but only as Wrangler or Rubicon, or whatever. So, now I know better.
