  1. I hated it when Tom Cruise was doing it and didn't think I could hate it more....I was wrong!
  2. OK, I know what a CJ and YJ is, and I think this is a very cool model, but I still don't know what a TJ is.
  3. Okay, I guess I'll have to take the convertible then.
  4. Why is it that 20 years ago you rarely(if ever)saw a car insurance commercial, and now there's one every 5 minuets on every channel? I get my car insurance from a great company that NEVER advertises(and it's cheaper too).
  5. Same here! I can't even count the car insurance companies that I would NEVER deal with.
  6. I think the 2-carb manifold is already on the engine.
  7. I still don't see any picture.
  8. I think the Magnum engines were orange.
  9. I had the same idea, I just need to get the GTO, I'm waiting for HL to put it on clearance. Looks like it's fitting together pretty good. Any problems? I think the color looks great too!
  10. The store I went to the other day let me use my reuseable cloth bags, but I had to bag the stuff myself. They wouldn't touch them.
  11. I like it, it's like a 48 Ranchero.
  12. Hey Steve, I have the PE hood hinges from the Trumpeter 60 Bonneville that I'll never use, due to my "old guy" eyes and fat fingers. I bet they would work great on this Pontiac, and I'm sure you could make them work. If you want them, just say the word, and they're yours. Rich
  13. I don't think so. I've used Krylon and Rustoleum both without problems. Try the Krylon, I know it works fine.
  14. Don't try that now.....somebody will kill you for all toilet paper!
  15. Does anyone know what the new parts in the Rubicon are?
  16. Try Model Car Market. It's a fairly new site that is ran by Steve Hardesty, who is a member here. There is a link to it in the Vendors, advertisers thread towards the bottom of the home page.
  17. I'm with you and Snake on this one. Although price is not irrelevant to me(I'm CHEAP), that doesn't really matter if the subject isn't something you're interested in. They could sell Tamiya kits for $2.00 a piece and I doubt I'd buy any. I'd rather have one cool 50s, 60s, or muscle car kit than a dozen European sport cars.
  18. Revell Foose Ford pickup, and 57 Ford kits even make me look like I know what I'm doing!
  19. Hobby Lobby has Testors Bug Yellow enamel in spray cans.
  20. The one I saw is bright red with black interior and fender stripe. None of the die-cast cars at this place are in boxes, just sitting out on the shelf. I might have to grab the Olds next time I'm there. They have some pretty cool stuff(51 Chevy sedan w/ drag engine and no front end)but they are 1/24, and look huge next to the Olds.
