  1. All you need now, is a Revell 57 Custom sedan, and a Del Rio wagon on that trailer.
  2. That wasn't the case here, I normally buy the non mirrored cases that sell for $8.99, but the ones with the clearance prices were the ones with mirrored bases.
  3. Yep, same thing with display cases. I bought 3 or 4 cases from the clearance section for $2.49, and the same ones were on the shelves for $9.99.
  4. I've got the gasser wagon, but haven't got the sedan yet. I think I'll have to get one, I love those Revell 57 Fords.
  5. At the HL here, the clearance priced kits don't get put in the clearance section unless they've sat on the model shelves for a long time and failed to sell.
  6. My HL has all of these, but at full price. I hope they clear these out here too, I want the Cutlass, and I really like Revell's Novas and Camaros.
  7. I thought that Brian's Charger was painted silver, and I think a silver car with red interior and stripe would look good. If the color is gold/bronze it needs to be black.
  8. I agree, but I think red would look good.
  9. Yeah, but for 10 bucks a can?
  10. That's the stuff! Thanks Jonathan! I wonder what the black looks like?
  11. I don't think so, it's something new(lacquer).
  12. I was in Hobby Lobby today, and saw that they now have Testors chrome lacquer in spray cans. Has anyone tried this, or know anything about it? It comes in chrome and black, I'm not sure if the black is a base coat, or what. I didn't want to buy any until I know more about it(it's 10 bucks a can).
  13. So, what does this mean?
  14. I'm with James. I think that the act of posting pictures of your builds opens you up to comments(praise or criticism). If your skin isn't thick enough to accept help from someone that might have a better way of doing something, then don't post pics.
  15. I agree with Mike that telling someone who posts pics of multiple models with sloppy paint, no chrome trim, poor decal work, etc. that their builds are "great" when they really aren't. I've learned so much, just by reading the comments of some of the great builders here, that I'm actually building pretty decent stuff(once in a while). I only wish I had the ability to post pics here, not for any false praise, but for helpful comments that would make me better.
  16. Deja Vu.
  17. Mine is in the same mall that the gym I go to is in, about 10 min. from home(freeway all the way).
  18. Mask off whatever you don't want carpeted, spray with paint the color of your carpet, dump embossing powder, straight from the jar, on the wet paint, let paint dry, dump extra powder on paper and back into jar, unmask, you got instant carpet. Works every time.
  19. You'd have your work cut out for you just to get those goofy looking headlights to look right.
  20. This is gonna be good!!! I'll be watching.
  21. But a minivan is easier to dodge than automatic weapon fire.
  22. I think it's ironic that some are worried about being more civilized on a model car forum when you can't go to WalMart without the possibility of being taken out by some nut job with an AK-47.
