Looking for some detailed engine pics of stacey rat rod. I saw pics of build on his website, but no good engine pics. Looking specifically for fuel line routing

Wow! Looking great!

What, no photo shoped hand to make us think it's a model? Lazy, lazy, lazy
-
Like the way you photo shop shoped your hand in there to make it look like a model

So I spent a couple of hours shimming the trunk, dry fitting, testing the hinges and making sure everything is perfect. Got off work today early and planned on shooting the base coat today. The dog ate my TRUNK! After following her following her around for a few hours to see I could get it back, I decided it would be easier to order another from Model Car Round Up. Now we wait

Looking good. Building my first 32. Will be basically OOB. Hope to be able to do custom work like this

Some dry fitting and interior before weathing. What color do you think for frame. I plan on painting engine Chevy orange and body matte black with weathering

Cool project Art. You lay out a project same as I do. Have fun with the lathe. When I get mine, my first project will be a very artistic looking pile of shavings.
hahaha. Great build so far

It never cease to amaze me watching builds like this. The transformation from globs of plastic that looks like sh*t to a well formed and finished model blows my mind. Following this one for sure

What's your impression of the kit overall? I am thinking of picking it up but I am still new to hobby

First rat rod. Building 32 for a friend based on Stacey David's rat rod. First trunk opening as well. This will be about my 10th or 11th model. Still learning the craft anD the board.

Depends on how close I am to the person who is asking. Family or not. Then I ask them to buy the kit and any other parts they want. My skill level is no where near the levels I see here but the 3 times I have done it, they have been very happy with results.

Sorry it was Mark Batson.

Building my own radiator, per tutorial from rod maskew? Suggested material from detail master but they are out of one of the types of mesh recommended in article. Suggestions? 1/24 scale
-
No sorry. But thanks for the links. Between them I should be lost for a few days

While getting a good deal seems like a good idea, it is also contributes to the shutting down of your LHS. As a small business owner I prefer to support other small businesses VS big box stores

Was looking in tips section, I believe it was there, and came across a tutorial on wheels. Author removed molded lugs, drilled and inserted rod? Been through every post since and can't find it again. Could anyone help with this?
