Apparently its hit a bunch of exposed nerves, lol. Dang, i was just giving my own pet peeve, and all of a sudden i get attacked. I'd love to say that i started building models when i was 5, but i didnt...i started at the age of 7. There is ALWAYS an exception for everything, but the number of people who say they started to build at the age of five, is still a LOAD. So lets use a little humor to make it seem more believable; "I got glue all over"....."it looked terrible" "I couldnt read, but......" How hard is it to really tell the truth?.....its not like you're any less of a modeler if you didnt start at the "Good ol Boys" age. Thats the other thing....."I couldnt read..." funny how people can distinctly remember building at 5, but cant remember that MOST directions were in WRITTEN form, with horrible pictures to show locations that were just as difficult to find.....Hmmmm. I call; myth busted. Maybe the definition of "Started to build models at 5" is the problem here. We have weathermen here that says its snowing, yet wen you look outside, you can BARELY see it, and it melts before it hits the ground. To me, thats NOT snowing. An adult doing most of the work doesnt mean you started building models....MOST five year olds dont have the attention span.... -
Thanks, David!....much appreciated!!

Not really a pet peeve, but i cant stand it when someone says that they started building models when they were 5.....No you didnt.....there are a million reasons why thats false. I dont know, but maybe people believing that load is possibly more annoying. -
Much appreciated, Scott! During my research, i found out that is WAS very dangerous to drive....almost undriveable. I bet it did drive like a dump truck. Even for being designed back then, that 90* steering angle DIDNT match the rest of the cars designed.....it looks more like an after thought, so i wanted to fix it.

I figured that i should sort out this interior business before painting the body, as badly as i want to. Even with flocking, and detailing, interiors that have the seats molded into the tubs, the seats still look fake, so theres only one thing for it -hack'em up!....they looked totally too hard anyway. The other issue was that the door cards didnt go up high enough, so i fixed that as well. -Photo 1; After making a stencil, it is time to get rid of the molded in door cards. -Photo 2; More to be removed... -Photo 3; First step of my removal proccess... -Photo 4; All kleaned up, but now its time to get rid of those fake, uncomfortable seat sides... -Photo 5; Time to trace the seat-end so that i can make better ones. -Photo 7; Time to remove the other side...a bit tricky, but doable... -Photo 8; I drilled it out, then kleaned it up with a blade. -Photo 9; I decided to remake the center column at this time. To me it was too narrow, and boring, so i'm widening it, and adding things to it for visual intrest. I forgot to tell you that i also narrowed the VERY wide seats, but you probably already noticed that... -Photo 10-13; The new bits are looking good....better than the original.

Hey, everyone! whilst being sick, i did manage to get a bunch done.... -Photo 1; Here is the starting of the intercoolers, muffler, and the appropriate brackets/mounts. -Photo 2; Overhead view, and i decided that the F-40 intake would look more visually interresting. -Photo 3; There are BAGS of room for turbos, and intercoolers!!
