  10. Love those burgers. What irks me : got married and everyone said " Hope you like burgers. " even got a 365 ways to cook burgers cook book as a wedding present. Been married 44 years and I can count on both hands how many times we've had burgers ( at home) " they're not good for you"

  14. Can't really see the rims as they are covered with "Moon" type "Salt Falts" spun aluminum discs. I find it interesting what he's done with the existing paint / patina polishing it up as he has, to a fine gloss. The Corvette , on the other hand, a neat car in it's own right, but hey? What's going on with all the little orange spots?
  15. I have to agree. However, just like so many other aspects of our hobby someone brings this to the table , so to speak, and away we go, like it or not. I do think the genuine "Barn Find" unfinished / unrestored look is interesting, so much as to just see what condition the car was in when put away wet. The "Velvet" look is another unfinished genre, like it or not. Of course "Miss Belvedere " is a whole other story. and I guess what I'd like to see here, is every ones attempt at this finish (patina) applied to a model car, thanks, have fun.
  16. What do you think is wrong with it ?
  17. did you bring them home in the trunk / look toward the front of the trunk compartment. Don't know how many times I've discovered lost food stuffs up there. Gotta tie them bags shut when you put em in the trunk. On the new Nissan I've got little hook thingies in the back that holds em in place. You can get some at a dealer.
  18. and this one takes the cake. http://thedailydrivers.com/patina-rat-rods/ Started out as a very nice finished fiber glass bodied show rod.
