  1. Excellent build! Like everything you did on this one, paint scheme, wheel choice and front bumper details are perfect!
  2. Great job. We have all seen these quicko repaints were masking was not a priority. Really like the alignment, wheels perfectly set in the fenders!
  3. This wheel can easily be replicated by filling in 5 holes of your typical AMT 10 hole wheel.
  4. IMO, White Freightliner cabovers are the most confusing cabs ever. From a distance they all look the same, close up every one looks different. Found this, but even in the separate series, fender design and step options vary a great deal.
  5. Great looking 351! Very popular lumber haulers back in the day. Really like the look of the old school flatbed with fender cut outs, what type of engine is under that narrow hood?
  6. Nice build, the KW donor frame looks right at home under this cab!
  7. Another great rendition of a great kit! Nice paint work on this one, what is the paint color for the frame?
  8. Nice upgrades and paint scheme for an old favorite!
  9. I like it! Great idea for a vintage hauler, I'm sure you can make it work, even with the defects.
  10. Bought just the frame only on ebay for a future long wheelbase project ( thought it would be easier than stretching) and yes, once removed from the tree it started to warp severely also. Staying away from the Hideout version!
  11. Very interested in flared out fender extensions in 1/25 as shown in photo. In 1:1 they are rubber, but of course, resin will do.
  12. Added a headache rack, winch, air lines and more cargo clamps on trailer for a more functional unit. Still working on trying to lower the boom height?
  13. Thanks for the kind words. Would like to graft in a '56 cab someday. Here is a shot of the completed project.
  14. Much needed, a high quality resin 3d older generation WF cab with the rounded fenders and lower headlights, athearn did a beautiful job for the railroad crowd. We need this enlarged to 1/25 scale and it would be perfect. Somebody step up to the plate and hit a home run! These will sell with all the AMT WF kits out there for donor chassis. I'm tired of dealing with the poorly molded fenders on the WF SD and the multistep fiasco on the WF DD. Can't be the only one who loves both WF chassis and hates both cabs. Anyone with me? Please chime in with your thoughts and hopefully get the ball rolling on this one too! Photos as seen is '74 movie "Hijack" used this cab. Lower cabs can be identified by a filler plate instead of a lower grill.
  15. The last update to his page was Aug 8 2022, waiting patiently for his next update which should be filled with great new products.
  16. I'm still waiting for a quality 1/25 scale mid 70's longbed square door kit with a real chassis ( something AMT should have gave us in the 70's)
  17. Wow! Looks fast standing still! Great job, those narrow noses are more aerodynamic too!
  18. Yep, my bad. Would love to see a photo book of all the LA city and LA county brush and rescue vehicles used in the 50's thru 70's.
  19. Looks good as a tractor too! Reminds me of the one they used in this '75 movie.
  20. Should be a doable project, re arrange the fuel pump and distributor locations, add an oil filter, oil pan re shaping and a little filler putty and scribe lines into the valve lifter plates should do it. Engine color depends on year.
  21. Never mass produced in kit form, but where available in resin at one time. I believe Ken is no longer in business. Ford 223 OHV 6 Resin Kit album | Ken Kitchen | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. Good news is that they are very similar to the period Chevy six, wouldn't be to difficult to modify I suppose.
  22. In the $125 ball park sound about right?
  23. X2! A wheel change a little dechroming does wonders.
  24. Oh, back in the days when wrecking yards were full of clean straight sheet metal and running factory high performance engines ? . Rex looks like he took advantage of the situation. Been wanting to stretch the '60 F 100 bed to 9 ft. to build a period brand new '65-'66 F 350 pickup. Finding 6 lug 19.5" ( non dual type) wheels would be an issue though.
  25. Great looking ALF. Details and upgrades look spot on. Classic's never go out of style!
