    True. A lot of the reference vehicles used by a lot of modelers are actually cobbled-up 'wanna-be' caricatures of police vehicles. Thus, the models modeled after inaccurate wanna-bes are in themselves, inaccurate. Compound it with snafus like many of the inaccurate police equipment parts in many of the kits, and you have inaccurate models all over the place.
