... Adding those sections along the edges of the roof opening would have required probably twice the time that I spent on the crossmembers ...
maybe too late with the interior installed vs risk on this one, but how about a wood color paint around the perimeter of the cut out? real tin isn't as thick as scale plastic, so it might not look completely out of place.

maybe the Disabled Modelers Group could auction off any kits and supplies which they won't be using and send the proceeds?

Yeah. Just put up a response based on ignorance, misunderstanding, or pure uninformed conjecture.
Some adult will come along and clean up the mess.

Super glues are meant to air dry, so every time you open the tube/bottle/whatever, a bit of air gets in and starts the drying process. I have several large bottles and recently found they dry out. I switched to small tubes of Gorilla Super Glue.
i think most CA type glues are anaerobic

It's been my experience in the past that it's rare to find a car shop where you can leave your toolbox open overnight and expect to have all your stuff the next day.
I just went back to work today, after having been out since August 1. Not a single thing missing at either shop.
The crews both have a wide age range and varied ethnic and demographic backgrounds. Not a thief or "borrower" in the whole bunch.
I'm a lucky man to be working with them.
do you have any idea what you just exposed?

michael, michael, michael .... i understand how upset you can get over these things. maybe some cucumber water and a little quiet time would make you feel better.

i should have posted a source.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_September_11_attacks
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Iraq_War
i understand the numbers are battered about, and that american lives are more important that any other nationality.

9/11 casualties - about 3,000
iraq war civilian casualties - 155, 000 - 174,000
we should set aside a day for them, too

That should really resonate with you.
i'm not the morbidly obese individual who can't do a full day's work, either. maybe stop posting 40 posts a day on multiple internet forums complaining how stupid everyone else in the world is, and eating pastrami sandwiches so that you could finish multiple projects for rich clients enhancing your portfolio in order that you, and your 40 year old milling machine, could move to beautiful N,S,E, & W Arizona and enjoy the sunsets and sunrises? just a thought. don't forget to take your advil.

doesn't it get mighty uncomfortable?

read around some of the other posts in the off-topic forum and ponder if things would be different with some sound dietary advice and a little exercise.
Read any good books lately?
