Hi, the paint was as follows: primed with Mr. Surfacer 1000 from spray can. model was then airbrushed with Vallejo mecha color sky blue. masked with tamiya flexible white tape for outlining dark blue and then tamiya yellow tape to cover rest Airbrushed Vallejo model air French blue for dark blue. Let dry overnight and removed masking let sit for a week and then cleared with starting with several light layers with Mr surface clear uv cut gloss from a spray can. Finished with wet coat revell chrom for headlight chrome from spray can. Let dry for several weeks before touched aluminum parts are spaz stick chrome spray paint but not over black. Gives a nice aluminum look…

Yes. They are nice thin photo etch wheels that you build up

The wheels were from eBay jack modelling. I ordered a few sets a while back kept the front narrow wheels for a Ferrari 250 California and saved the wider rears for this.

Air Trax kit that I’ve been working on over past few years. Was missing several parts including center console which I will try to make next. the chassis that came with my kit was not useable. I have chopped and stretched an italeri Ferrari Daytona chassis as a replacement. today boxed in the the rear parcel shelf, made new fender area and parcel shelf with polystyrene and apoxie sculpt Will like change color to metallic brown to replicate Peter Sellers car

I fit the I interior into the body and then glued the frame to interior. Knock off pins for the wheels need to be trimmed a bit. kit decals kind of fell apart on me despite pre coating with microscale liquid decal film. Ended up substituting a set of vintage racing miniatures decals and Le Mans decals that I bought a while ago. I glued all photo etch pieces with microscale micro Kristal klear Recommend xuron photo etch scissors to cut the photo etch parts. The cut right at the attachment point and the pieces don’t go flying -
