I am a NEWBIE Everyone. My name is Harry (61yo) 40 years married and owner of a few 67 Pontiac Grand Prix cars. There is a Ragtop loaded driver, as well as an equally overloaded hardtop. Other cars in my stable are parts donor cars. I will be restoring my excellent convertible driver into a near show piece, but I WILL still drive it! Needless to say, the 67 Grand Prix is amongst my obsessions... Like many of us, I delayed ordering kits from Model Haus until it was too late. BUT, there may be light at the end of the tunnel! I am well connected in the commercial 3D Printing industry, and one would be impressed with what can be achieved via high resolution 3D printing. I am utilizing a $175K printer, rather than a POS desktop model. I would like to work with somebody on this forum to temporarily loan (or sell to me) a 67 Model Haus Kit or Build for purposes of 3D scanning, which I can then get produced as a top quality reproduction. The Scanning process is NON DESTRUCTIVE. No harm will come to any piece that I arrange to be scanned and printed. I have already done this with my 67 Pontiac Bonneville MPC Model Kit. The results exceeded my expectations. I am a resin caster by hobby, along with a 50 plus year hobby of HO Slot Car collecting. My plan is to make very hard promo cars and kits more easily obtainable for those who appreciate those beautiful cars of our youth! Please contact me if you wish to discuss and/or loan me a 67 Grand Prix kit. Thanks to all! Harry
