Nope the back is even easier. Create some brackets so that the front of part #22 can pivot where it joins the crossmember. Then just use some real springs in place of the plastic coil springs.

I pulled some black decals from my photo album that I keep my decals in and I'm noticing they has a strange appearance as if the factory clear coating is being pulled off when I peel the clear sheet back or perhaps the sheet is leaving some of the sticky from the back behind. I'm not sure they are going to look good when applied. Anyone else had/have a similar problem? I

I would be floored if stock parts are not included, and we have spoken many times on how Revell understands their target customer. I think stock parts are a safe bet. However guys like Foose and Trepanier are bringing a whole new generation into the custom car hobby. They are the Starbird and Roth of this generation. So this is Revell's way of killing two birds with one stone. Pretty brilliant if you ask me.

BTW, ya know Ron if I write another story about this years Cannonball, I'm going to have a ball with that Datsun. Fair warning.

Things are looking good in my garage folks. The mods to get this hemi to fit have been minor. Some adjustment to the front crossmember to allow for the front sump oil pan. One really nasty detail of this Revell Magnum 6.1 is these @#&%*! crappy headers. Some sheet and some half round stock will do just enough to make it look not ridiculous if viewed from below. More soon. Things have finally eased up at work. In fact the suits have decided to cut OT entirely for a while, so I will finally get a rest from hour weeks.

The black field would be entirely decal and the lettering clear. Interesting idea. I was planning on using flats for the hood.

Guys check this out. This is an artist rendition of a Dart they built on the Muscle Car TV. See that wonderful stenciled HEMI on the hood? I would like to do something similar on a current build. I'm not afraid of trying some home made stencils, but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas that might work. Are there any large HEMI decals I could work into a design? How would you go about achieving this look? Thanks in advance.

Shane, as requested. Not much to it. I eliminated the molded gas tank and exhaust, added a crossmember and done.

In front you are quite right. But it has Corvette rear suspension and drivetrain. And right now the rear axles are darn near on the frame. Im not the kind of builder who can jury rig the axles to get my desired ride height. Its got to look mechanically possible. Thanks for the opinions. I will call it good and press on.

Shane, I haven't taken any, but I can do so when I get home from work today. This kit really lends itself well to an old school gasser. Between the blown big block and the parallel leafs in the front, how can you not? Richard I may do that, I'll post them up when I do.
