  1. Lookin' for an update...What's going on with this build, Bernard?
  2. That's some of the best weathering I've ever seen!! Thanks for sharing,
  3. Cool 40!! I really like that gynormous velocity stack!! Later,
  4. Thanks, again, guys!! I gave this one to a friend of mine that builds a lot of rat rods to add to his collection shortly after I showed it at the NNL West. Later,
  5. AWESOME WORK, JOHN!! I hope to see this one at the next NNL West!! Thanks for sharing,
  6. WOW!! That is incredible workmanship!!
  7. Thanks, guys!! Yeah...I'm pretty pleased with the way this one is coming along. Clay, The family is doing well. Both boys are scheduled to graduate from college next year!! Later,
  8. Wow!! It's been a month since I last posted any pictures of this beast!! Anyway...I broke out a new can of Testors Honduras Maroon lacquer and a new can of Testors clear and went at it. It almost looks good enough to build without a good color sanding and polishing first...we'll see how much of its luster it holds when it cures. Here's a few pics about 5 hours after it was painted. Well...I'll let this one cure for a week or two before I polish it a bit and finish putting it together... Until then, I think I'll get back to work on my 50 Chevy Z06 pickup... Later,
  9. Sounds good to me!! OK...you've shamed me into painting the Wagon Rod. I actually broke out a new can of Testors lacquer Honduras Maroon and a new can of clear and went at it!! It actually came out pretty good...almost good enough to build as-is. Later,
  10. That whole rat skull is kind of creepy and very cool all at the same time!! No one can argue with you that this isn't a real rat rod!! Keep up the GREAT work!! Later,
  11. Holy smoke, Batman...look at this guy go!!! Not only fast but good!! Curt, my old friend...you embarrass me with your speed!! I still haven't painted the color coat on the WagonRod...and I started it about 5 builds ago for you... I may just start sending my stuff to you to build. Let me know when you've got a weekend off from work. I've got to come by and meet those elves. Later,
  12. What can I say??? Potvins are just too cool!! Keep up the GREAT work, Bernard!! Later,
  13. I build: 1/24 & 1/25 cars, trucks; 1/35 WWII military dioramas; 1/20 S.F.3.D. (SciFi) dioramas; and N gauge train layouts. I tend to go in cycles...building cars for a while, then trucks, SciFi, maybe a bit of military...then off to the trains for a while... I still need to finish the tracks and weathering on the tank for this one. I need to finish the base and a bit of the weathering on the vehicle for the Star Wars diorama. Most of you have seen enough of my cars and truck to know I build them, too. Later,
  14. I've always thought that the Potvin setup is just too cool!! One of these days I'll find something to put one in other than a dragster...but I'm not sure what's long enough to hold that much engine without pushing it all back into the passenger compartment. I do like the way Curt put the radiators on each side of the Potvin to make room for the engine without moving it back... How do you plan on getting all of the parts for yours under the hood, Bernard? I want to see more!! Later,
  15. Very nice build, Charles!! You must have quite a collection of custom and concept cars!! Thanks for sharing,
  16. Very cool, Steve!! The whole build came together really well!! What's next? Later,
  17. Very nice work, Bernard!! The rake and stance is right on the $$ And, now I remember where that black fully fendered '32 roadster got off to. I Still get a chuckle every time I think about how stealthfully I got the description of how to build it from you in a post about what different builders thought was the best combination of Revell '32 Ford parts. Keep up the GREAT builds!! Later,
  18. Looking good, Bernard!! Actually, this body design has me thinking of something I want to make similar to the taxi cab in the movie "The Fifth Element". Hmmm...
  19. Looking good, Bernard!! I still haven't had time to paint my WagonRod. My oldest son is home for 10 days, so I'm pretty busy spending time with him, (and his car...), before he heads back up north... Keep up the good work and the posts!! Later,
  20. WOW, Bernard!! That is one wild ride you've got going on there!! And, you know how much I like custom body work!! I can't wait to see where this one goes!! All this, AND a Potvin!! That's almost too much for me to imagine!! Keep us posted on this one!! Later,
  21. Cool Sci-Fi stuff!! I also build Sci-Fi stuff, some straight from the box and some altered SF3D kits. Thanks for sharing,
  22. Another very clean build!! Thanks for sharing,
  23. That's a very cleanly built stocker!! Very nice!! Thanks for sharing,
  24. VERY NICE!! I can hardly wait to see this one Under Glass!! Thanks for sharing,
  25. And I was wondering where the Audi came from... How do you do it? Cool looking little hotrod, my old friend!! Will you keep this one long enough for it to make it to the next NNL West? Later,
