The wings are painted—it's not my best masking job, so some touch-up will be needed, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. I’m hoping to get it cleared by Monday, and then I can start on the cockpit. . Thanks for looking

The base coat is on! It looks lighter in the photos than it does in person. Once I finish painting the wings, I can move on to clear coating. The engine is finished—just need to add the brake rotors when I install the wheels. Pretty happy with it so far! Thanks for looking!

OK, if you’ve been following me for a while, you know the saga of this kit. This was the very first body I tried to create in 3D. What started as a simple conversion ended up becoming a full-blown kit—and man, it’s been a journey. Now this journey is coming to an end. Here are a few pics of the engine with the rear suspension installed. I thought I had photos of the build process, but apparently not. I'll get the turbo mounted today, then move on to priming and painting the yellow and blue on the body later. Thanks for looking
