Thanks for the replies. That is what I thought on value and will probably put this kit on eBay. I really do not have time for models again because I have 5 full-sized "kits" I'm working on now. Building models is really what got my interest in cars when I was young. In 1964, we lived in Miami, FL and had friends who lived on a lake in Sebring. We were up there visiting and my dad told me I could take the car to the races - (the "12 hrs of Sebring" sports car race). I was 16 and another boy went with me. We had my dads 60 Pontiac Catalina convertible and were sitting in line to get in. All of a sudden the ground started to shake and heard this loud rumbling. I looked in the rear view mirror, but it was vibrating. I held the mirror and realized it was four Ferrari 250 GTOs, behind me, trying to get into the track as well. They pulled around us and rumbled slowly past on the drivers side. It was love at first sight/sound.... I like cobras too, but nothing is as pretty as a red 250 GTO.
thanks,
