Looking awesome! I think something along the lines of this would fit perfectly into what you're building.

Colby, I used the bucket seat out of a Revell 32nd scale Ferrari, I think it was a snap tite kit molded in red. It looked pretty good in the back seat of my 67 Impala SS.
Thanks for the tip!

I'm looking for a 1/25 scale child car seat that I can put in a project build I'm working on...anyone have a source?

Display, store, sell...what do you all do with your built kits? I know there are some that I will display, but the wife and I agree that it'd be best to just display them in my office. Haven't decided what I will do with the ones that I don't want to display.

Very nice! I currently have the same kit taking a bath to strip the paint. Got it from a friend who did a terrible job painting it. This gives me inspiration to get it built!

Really like this body style, and that color is going to work NICELY! Is it me, or does the front end sit a bit too high? Or just a loose fitting mock-up, maybe?
Maybe it's sitting high because there's no engine!

I have an old model I built when I was a kid soaking in brake fluid as I type this...it's been in for about 24 hours, and the plastic is the same as it was when it went in.

Nice, I like the color scheme. That looks like a neat kit.

I like your subject choice and paint colors. A little sanding and polishing can make a world of difference in the final appearance of the paint.
Yeah, I need to acquire some junk bodies to practice on...I'm worried about making it better instead of worse.

This is my second build in about 17 years, so I'm pretty rusty, but I chose a '32 Sedan for the project. Building box stock with a flathead V8. Wheels are from a '32 street rod Monogram kit. My primary focus is improving my paint skills and honing my assembly skills without diving into any major modifications...just trying to achieve a clean build. Paint has some imperfections and isn't glass-smooth, but I'm happy with it, especially considering it's just Rustoleum rattle-can.

Love it! I wish I would have snagged one of these up before they went out of production and started going for $100+ on ebay...I keep hoping they'll bring it back.

Thanks guys! I got a lot of tips for building it right here from browsing the tips and tricks threads.

That is really cool...I love it!

I like it a lot...that would be a cool car to see driving around!

Nice looking color on that car. Looks pretty cool to me. Welcome back to the hobby too. Keep it going!
Thanks! The color is Duplicolor "Torque 'n Teal" engine enamel. I had it left over for an engine build I did for my grandfather's '47 Packard, and thought it'd make a cool body color.

This is my first build...technically not first ever, but I haven't done one since I was about 14 years old. Decided to go easy on the 'building' and just put together Revell's snap kit, so I could practice on painting and just get back into the swing of things. I've got a few 32's on the bench that I'm working on too.

Looking good...I love the direction you're going. I always liked the looks of 33-35's...never understood why 32's get all the love.

I'm currently working on a Revell 32 Ford 3 Window Coupe that I'm building into a drag car with a flathead. I'd like to get the front axle raised a bit instead of using the one with drop spindles...I'd like to go at least factory height, or even more gasser style. I'm considering just cutting the spindles and trying to attach them coming straight out, but I'm wondering what other options there are. Is the front axle from another kit that can fit without too much modification or massaging? I'm a novice, but I'm not afraid of a bit of customization as long as it's not too intense. I also do not yet possess the ability to do everything overly realistic, so I'm okay with something that may be a bit off as long as it's not hugely obvious.

That's awesome! Love the detail...great work!

Is there a removable hard top to replace the soft top for the Revell 67 Corvette Roadster?

Looks really good. I love the interior color...I may have to use that on an upcoming build.
