Hello all mates! I am a new member, but not so new, or young... Some 40 years in modelling and working seven days a week to build model cars.
This is a WIP developed to follow the theme in Peking to Paris Rally cars. The first one I started, and it brings all the history and envolvement with that fascinating competition, is this Ford 1940. First to catch my attention because the great chinese dragon on its right side.
Some changes and modifications to the shape, adjusting to a better accuracy and looking. Tyres and wheels also a great searching, but I found a common sence to all the racers I intend to build (lots of Chevrolets, Dodges, Plymouths and others).
The works stoped some time ago due to some matter about to draw the dragon and the cock for the left side. All the decals are ready to print and soon I will be back to this work.

This is my last work finished. This reproduces the car raced here in Brazil from 1971 to 1973, by driver and friend Angi Munhoz, under the colours of Team Bino/Motoradio.
The starting point was a broken 908 LH body shell, modified for the 907K. Some poliester putty and sculptures to get the new rear cowl. The decals were laser printed. The final yellow painting was polished and decals were on, with no clear coat over.
