The red stripes (I'd never noticed them before), I believe Gurney's teammate was Dale Earnhardt in a similarly painted number 2. The red stripes would have helped the pit crews identify their car. Great job on both of Dan's cars. FYI: I was there both days for this race and took the first picture (of the rear of the car) you used in your post. Augie
