I certainly appreciate all the excellent advice I got here. I'll get the Tamiya tape for sure. Will let you all know how it works out.

I am currently building a Chevy pickup and trying to create the two-tone paint scheme of the '80's. My problem is I get one color down, let it sit 24 hours, then tape it and lay the other color, but when I remove the tape, half the paint comes off also. I am using regular masking tape. Any help?

Hello I am a Vietnam War Veteran. Like most of you, I started building model cars as a youth, for me it was back around 1955. Had 2 footlockers full when I went into the Army in 1964. Left them with my sister, who had 2 boys. Needless to say by the time I returned, noting was left. Sadly, when she saw all the cars had been broken, she threw the entire lot out. wish I had all those parts now,, lol. Anyway, I found this sire and thought perhaps I could get some help fining kits and/or parts. To start, who makes after market parts now? Glad to be here.
