  1. Sorry if I ruffled some feathers when I wrote that.
  2. I thought I made that clear in my original post.
  3. I am a retired mechanic that has used Dykem. Why would I buy a product that cost more than mixing Pledge and food color or craft ink ? Thanks for your idea though.
  4. Ok I'm trying my best to make the Sox and Martin 67 "GTX" SS/B car. Has anyone tried using Pledge and food color or ink to tint clear clastic ? I do have a Ebay single action air brush also. I know Tamiya makes a translucent blue but thought about making my own. Also chassis paint color. From what I can find the suspension parts were semi gloss black. Your thoughts on this ?
  5. Thanks for input to this question also.
  6. It was more of a science experiment to see if it was a better using an airbrush than out of the can. Less coat thickness (mils) and smooth coat.
  7. I do have some now in spray can and would I need to thin it ? Do metallic need a bigger cup and needle or is that more for acrylics ? As you can see with my questions I'm a Noob to this.
  8. Really never looked into the bottle paint, as in didn't know it was made. I can see how you could use that with a thinner. Thanks.
  9. I was wondering if after decanting the paint would it work well using an airbrush ? Tried YouTube on the subject and can't find the answer to my question. Thanks.
