  1. Thanks for your comment Alan and for that bit of Info.
  2. Thanks for your input fella's. Spinners it is. Still haven't decided on a color yet.
  3. I took the inner wheel hubs off that came with the kit and put the inner wheel half that goes with these wheels. Makes it a little hard to install on the Sedan but looks better with all the spokes showing.
  4. Yup....looks like a good start.
  5. Still looking at different options for the wheels. I have some spinners and the stock hub caps.
  6. Nice old pics. Got me to thinking about the time I spent at the local drag strip and the things we use to do. Yeah.....I don't remember even thinking about safty. Just going fast.
  7. Looks good. Looks like you got caught in a little shower while taking your pics.
  8. Now that is one good looking ride Glen. That cream color looks really nice. What color is that?
  9. That's going to be pretty slick Roger.
  10. A shed find. Should be a good project.
  11. Thanks Bill.
  12. Man that Charger looks trick. Looks nice and tidy on the business end.
  13. I was going to ask you what kit that Hemi came out of but I went back and read what you said. "Hemi of unknown origin"
  14. Looks really good so far. I like the colors on the engine. What color is that on the carbs.
  15. Good looking wagon. That roof looks pretty kewl.
  16. Good looking car. That paint is nice and goes good with the interior.

    1949 Ford

    Nice looking 49.
  18. You bet. That Vette setting next to my 49 is my friends 81. It has a pretty healthy 350 in the business end.
  19. I did manage to get some of the engine parts sanded and glued together. The parts do not want to fit together very well. It's almost like I'm fitting parts from another kit and trying to make them fit as they do not want to light up correctly. I don't know if it is because it's an older kit or an MPC kit. Maybe both. This is the best I could get it put together.
  20. Looks pretty kewl. That blue along with the white letter tires looks great. Great job.
  21. Nice looking little Roadster. The two color go together nicely.
  22. Nice work. The first pic the cage looks green to me and the second pic looks blue & green.
  23. I've used both over Tamiya paint. I have use the Rust-Oeum Clear Lacquer over acrylic paint on my last few builds. Seems to flow a little better and level out nicely.
  24. Nice pics. Love all the classic cars and trucks.
  25. I build 1/25 scale and my grandkids say they are to small. They showed me a 1/18 scale 1957 Chevy Gasser and a 1941 Willys Gasser by Acme online. They looked pretty kewl. I have a few questions. Is Acme a good brand for diecast models, do these models need to be assembled or do the come pre assembled, and where is a good place to my 1/18 scale models so it doesn't brake the bank. Thanks for the help.
