I can say enough good things about this build. Absolutely splendid job.
How do you do those templates for the name etc...

So you guys have been receiving the print version for 10 days now. Good. Why is the digital version so far behind? Magzter is a terrible supplier.

Looks great. Nice job!

Yeah, who doesn't want a 283?

That turned out very nice, Tony. Great detailing and use of Pledge.
Congratulations from 130 miles west of you.

Just a phrase of caution for a new member, who knows nothing about the works of the member whom you're slinging capricious allegations at.
New member? Ha. I was here off and on for several years.
I don't need to know anything about your work. It was a simple question even for someone who thinks he's still in High School.
Enough, keep your comments regarding me to yourself.

butchered body." The Moebius '65 Nova ...
Are you one of those who thinks the 65 Nova is so far off that it looks butchered? Lots of guys just love to complain though they've probably built tons of crappy models in the past. I usually work with what I get after checking out the accuracy of the kit. The '65 is a GREAT kit.

I couldn't just mount the support tubes to the firewall without proper mounting plates.
No need. The kit comes with the required mounting plates...

Pat,
The digital version is available on Magster, or you can subscribe to the digital version instead of the print version.
It's Magzter and you can't actually download the magazine. You download the link to the mag. If anything happens to Magzter you'll lose all of your purchases.
It should be on a site like Magcloud.

Wow. It even yellowed where you wouldn't have sprayed clear, like the inside of the body and fenders...very curious.

Nice work. I like where this is headed.

You realize how old this kit is? I thought they did a good job on the tires.

I saw s GE painted with a similar color from Tamiya over a black primer (yes black) and the color was more realistic than over a grey primer.
Also you get some benefit from a guy on Youtube who is building one at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYQxBFOFVGv2ykSzG8520HA.

Yes it would have been nice if they offered some help with the colors.
To make it even worse they only picked a few colors for the instructions.
Happy building.

By the way, that info is from Slick Rydes.

Hi everyone, I am starting my 1/16 scale car. I know some of the cars of that time had black engines and maybe some aluminum. Does anyone know what color the engine block might be on this? Also should the chassis be a bare metal color, magnesium maybe?
Any help on this kit would be great, George

I discovered a couple of old TM kits recently. With your build I'm watching for any tips.
