  1. TKM is to resin what Premiere and Palmer was to plastic models: the Biggest Joke in the Industry. A NOS Palmer kit is worth more if you empty the contents into the nearest trash can and just offer the box. Don Holthaus was probably the most talented designer around, but he sure yanked the tablecloth out from under everyone by promising he'd stay open until the end of 2016, then disappeared in June, 2015, leaving all his customers spinning in the wind. I hope he's happy.
  2. I paid some $40+ for what was supposed to be a '47 Chevrolet station wagon. I've been doing professional resins since they came out and mine bring top dollar. I did what I could to this poor bondo sculpture and it brought $7 on ebay. If you're a millionaire and need some tax write-offs, or just some exercises in spending money, see Tom K. Mills, in OK City. He's the one who makes this TKM garbage.
  3. I was another victim of Modelhaus. He reassured everyone he'd stay open until the end of 2016, then disappeared without a ripple in June, 2015, leaving all his tall money customers in the lurch. I had used Bob Shibelski in Wis. for years and always had great quality and service. Out of hundreds of parts, including many special requests, only two pieces were ever lost or damaged and he made good on both really quick. Then he suddenly dropped off the radar. Is there anyone left who treats everyone equally, as to "next in, next out"? Don Holthaus ran his business under that rule and it served everyone well. I hope I'm not too late; I see this discussion is already three years old, apparently without resolution. Any and all help would be appreciated! Jason, Mesa, AZ
